Kilimanjaro
For the second year running, Snowdonia Climbing provided the expedition planning and support to The New Victoria Medical Foundation's (NVMF) fund raising trip to climb Kilimanjaro. In 2009, 13 volunteers travelled to Africa's highest peak with the aim of raising funds for the charity and other good medical causes. In all, they raised over £130,000 for the charity and amongst others, The Royal Marsden Hospital. In 2010, a smaller team of 3 fund raisers all successfully reached the 5,895m summit and on the way raised £30,000 for the charity.
If you or your charity require expert advice, planning support or expedition leadership then Snowdonia Climbing can provide full and complete arrangements including flight, accommodation, transport and outfitter bookings.
