ML Refresher
Our ML (Mountain Leader) Refresher courses are aimed at ML Summer trainees needing to brush-up prior to assessment and those who assessed some time ago and feel the need for an update.
Courses will cover emergency ropework, micro-navigation, group leadership, access and conservation, weather and emergency procedures though ultimately, will be tailored to suit individual strengths and weaknesses across the ML Summer syllabus.
The 2-day course will include an overnight expedition spent wild camping in one of Snowdonia's mountain ranges where the emphasis will be on expedition skills, micro-navigation and navigating in reduced visibility/darkness.
Students should attend with their logbooks and ML Training Course Report. NNAS assessments can also be incorporated into ML Refresher courses on request.
For 2012 we will be offering two ML Refresher courses based on the Isle of Skye. These courses will run 16-17 and 23-24 June 2012.
