Navigation is part art, part science, lots of practise and sometimes a measure of good fortune. Which aspect do you rely upon most to get around?
Our navigation courses will suit all levels of map reader from the hopelessly lost to the ML aspirant. Courses are conducted outdoors teaching map reading skills and then putting them into practice because, where map reading is concerned, practice does make perfect.
We will cover 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 map scales as well as GPS use. All courses also involve map reading at night and involve evening activities outdoors.
As an Open Course Provider for the National Navigation Award Scheme, Bronze and Silver training and assessment are available on request - please contact us prior to making your booking.
