Booking Conditions

GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS

These conditions apply equally to each individual when a booking is made as a group. It is strongly advised that you take out personal accident and travel insurance when booking that will cover you in the event of you having to cancel your trip for any reason.

​INSURANCE AND LOSS

Snowdonia Climbing courses and activities do not include any personal accident, cancellation, third party liability or personal insurance. We recommend that you take out your own policy. Snowdonia Climbing does not accept responsibility whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property.

FEES

Only on receipt of a completed booking and full payment will a place be guaranteed.

All COURSES AND ACTIVITIES

Full payment is required when completing a booking.

Client cancellations made 4 weeks or more prior to the course start date will receive full refund of payments.

Client cancellations made less that 4 weeks prior to the course start date will receive 60% refund of payments.

A space is secured on completion of the booking form and payment in full.

Any medical problems that arise between the medical declaration (on the booking form) being submitted and the start date you must be notified to Snowdonia Climbing immediately.

Snowdonia Climbing may require you to obtain confirmation from a medical professional that you are fit to travel and participate in the activity.

Greenland - In the case of a suspected or confirmed emergency involving you or the group of which you are a member, Snowdonia Climbing reserves the right to arrange (or to make arrangements for its or your insurers to arrange) search, rescue and recovery as it deems appropriate and reasonable. You agree to indemnify Snowdonia Climbing and keep the Snowdonia Climbing indemnified from all losses, apportioned appropriately to you, arising from any such search, any such helicopter usage, and any resulting repatriation, for medical or non-medical reasons, including legal costs of making a recovery against you.

CHANGE OF COURSE DATE BY THE CLIENT

A client may apply to change course or course dates at any time.

​CANCELLATION BY SNOWDONIA CLIMBING

Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that advertised courses actually run as advertised, Snowdonia Climbing will notify the client of cancellation as soon a possible where it believes on reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to dangerous and/or unsuitable conditions for the course activity.

In the unlikely event that Snowdonia Climbing has to cancel your course, you will be offered either a full refund or an alternative date.

Snowdonia Climbing will not be liable for any travel or accommodation-related expenses.

CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT

A cancellation by the client must be in writing i.e. letter or email; cancellations by other social media are not acceptable.

Once notified of the cancellation, Snowdonia Climbing will try to resell the course place(s). In the event that Snowdonia Climbing is able to resell the course place prior to the start date, the client will receive a full refund.

In the event that Snowdonia Climbing is unable to resell the course place(s) prior to the course start date the client will be charged the following cancellation fees:

  • Cancellations more than 4 weeks prior to start date - full refund.
  • Cancellations less than 4 weeks prior to start date - 60% refund.
